FAQ

Quick answers to the questions our customers ask most. Can’t find what you need? Drop us a line at sales@welborne.com.au or call 07 3267 2828.

Do you sell to individuals?

Unfortunately, no — we only supply directly to businesses.

Do you visit customers?

Yes! Our sales team is based in Eagle Farm, Brisbane, and regularly visits customers across Southeast Queensland and the Pacific Islands. Contact our team to arrange a comfortable time for a visit.

Do you have a catalogue?

We offer custom-made uniforms personalised to individual requirements, along with Stock Line garments from over 20 leading suppliers, so compiling everything into a single catalogue is impossible. Kindly contact our corporate sales team to discuss your needs, and they can create a personalised proposal with diverse options that fit your budget and requirements.

Can you supply non-standard sizes?

If you order a custom-made garment, we can provide any standard or non-standard size to ensure a perfect fit for all staff. Please note that non-standard sizes may incur surcharges because of the special manufacturing process. However, this is not available for Stock Line garments. Contact our sales team for more details.

How do you quote a job?

We can provide quotes from a sample or concept image. Once we finalise your requirements and garment styles, we calculate how much it will take to make them. Stock Line garment prices depend on the quantity purchased, with listed prices on our ‘garments’ page applicable to orders between 30-99 garments per style. Use our ‘quote cart’ or contact our sales consultants for an accurate quote.

How does sizing work between brands?

Sizes differ between brands, and we suggest you verify sizes before placing an order. Buying a sample size range allows staff to try on garments and determine their exact size. Contact our consultants to schedule a sample fitting range.

How can I place an order?

Ordering from Welborne Corporate Image is not as complicated as you think. You can order through email, phone, fax, or online if you register for our online ordering portal.

What’s your sample policy for stock-line garments?

A sample charge per supplier applies to all buy-in samples to cover small order surcharges and transportation expenses. New customers need to pay for samples at the time of ordering. Existing customers with an active account will be given samples with the charge added.

Can I return samples?

Yes, with conditions:

  • Samples must be returned within 14 days of receipt
  • Garments must be in their original condition and packaging to qualify for credit
  • If returned properly, we shall issue a credit for the cost of the garments
  • Freight charges and sample surcharges are non-refundable
The customer must bear sample returning charges. Samples are charged at our standard 1-5-unit price.

What about custom-made samples?
  • We levy a 100% surcharge on all custom-made clothes samples
  • Samples allow you to understand style, fit, and quality before we start production in full swing
  • Standard production lead times apply when the sample payment is received
  • Custom-made samples cannot be returned or credited if no order is placed for the corresponding style
  • If a garment order is placed in the same style as the supplied sample, we credit the sample surcharge to your account
How do sample fitting ranges work for custom-made?

Sample fitting ranges are charged at the base quantity price (10-24 price group) plus a $10 surcharge per garment. This applies to each sample in the fitting range. For new customers: 75% deposit before samples are ordered or manufactured, 25% balance before dispatch. For existing customers: invoice credited back to your account, payment due within 14 days.

What are the freight charges?

Free shipping to a single location within Australia for orders over $1000 + GST.

When can I return a garment?

We accept returns when garments are:

  • Faulty due to manufacturing defects or bad packaging
  • Damaged during transit
  • Wrong item delivered
Contact our sales team within 14 days of delivery to arrange a return.

What does an active account mean?

An active account is a credit account set up with our sales team for ongoing business customers. It allows you to receive samples and place orders on invoice (14-day payment terms). Contact sales to apply.
