How to Order?
Custom-made garments at Welborne Corporate Image require a minimum order of 30 garments per style. Still, with Stock Line garments, the minimum is 15 per style, with the flexibility to spread orders in different sizes. Pricing for custom-made garments differs based on garment style and fabric quality.
We can provide quotes from a sample or concept image. Once we finalise your requirements and garment styles, we calculate how much it will take to make them. Stock line garment prices depend on the quantity purchased, with listed prices on our ‘garments’ page applicable to orders between 30-99 garments per style. Use our ‘quote cart’ or contact our sales consultants for an accurate quote.
Sizes differ between brands, and we suggest you verify sizes before placing an order. Buying a sample size range allows staff to try on garments and determine their exact size. Contact our consultants to schedule a sample fitting range. Ordering from Welborne Corporate Image is not as complicated as you think. You can order through email, phone, fax, or online if you register for our online ordering portal.

SAMPLES Section
At Welborne Corporate Image, we understand the importance of selecting the right garments for your employees. To ensure you make the perfect choice in fit, style and quality, we offer sample garments to try and know if it suits you before placing the order.
Sample Ordering & Charges
- A sample charge per supplier applies to all buy-in samples to cover small order surcharges and transportation expenses.
- New customers need to pay for samples at the time of ordering.
- Existing customers with an active account will be given samples with the charge added.
Sample Returns & Credit Policy
- Samples must be returned within 14 days of receipt
- Garments must be in their original condition and packaging to qualify for credit
- If returned properly, we shall issue a credit for the cost of the garments
- Freight charges and sample surcharges are non-refundable
Samples Used for Fitting & Embroidery
- If the provided samples are used for fitting range and you are okay with the same size and style, you can send them for embroidery or branding.
- Some suppliers do not accept sample returns, and your sales consultant will let you know if this applies to the samples you have requested before placing the order.
Return Procedure & Charges
- The customer must bear sample returning charges.
- Samples are charged at our standard 1–5-unit price.
SAMPLES- Custom Made Garments
Custom-made garments require extra care, high precision, and attention to detail. We suggest, but in most cases, we must produce sample garments before starting bulk orders to ensure you are fully satisfied with the final product.
Custom-made Sample Process & Charges
- We levy a 100% surcharge on all custom-made clothes samples
- Samples allow you to understand style, fit, and quality before we start production in full swing.
- Standard production lead times apply when the sample payment is received.
Payment Terms
Payment needs to be made fully when ordering a sample. Production commences once payment has been received.
For existing customers
- If you have an active account, you will be invoiced for the sample garment, surcharge, and freight charges added to your account.
- Payment is required within 14 days.
- Samples won’t be sent to customers if they have outstanding payment
Sample Credit & Return Policy
- If a garment order is placed in the same style as the supplied sample, we shall credit the sample surcharge to your account.
- In some situations, we may ask you to return the sample garment as the production reference. Once returned without any damage, the full cost of the sample, including the surcharge, shall be credited back to your account.
- Custom-made samples cannot be returned or credited if no order is placed for the corresponding style.
Custom-made samples will be charged at the base quantity price for 10-24 garments.
SAMPLE FITTING RANGES- CUSTOM-MADE GARMENTS
We offer sample size ranges for staff fittings to ensure a perfect fit before proceeding with bulk orders. These fitting samples allow staff members to try on garments and determine the correct sizes, helping to reduce size issues in the final order.
Pricing & Charges
- Sample fitting ranges will be charged at the base quantity price (10-24 price group) plus a $10 surcharge per garment.
- This applies to each sample garment included in the fitting range
Payment Terms
For New Customers
- A 75% deposit is needed before the samples are ordered or manufactured
- The remaining 25% balance must be paid before dispatch
- For existing customers, this invoice will be credited back to your account, with payment due within 14 days.
Return & Credit Policy
- Custom-made sample ranges cannot be returned for refund under any circumstances except in cases of manufacturing or material defects.
- Customers should review the samples before finalising the bulk order
What Does an Active Account Mean?
An active account refers to customers who have bought garments within 120 days.

Free shipping to a single location within Australia for orders over $750 + GST.
RETURNS
Goods will only be accepted for return if they meet one of the following conditions:
- Faulty due to manufacturing defects or bad packaging
- Damaged during transit
- Wrong item delivered
All returns must be pre-approved by the company. If any of the above situations apply, please contact your designated account manager or sales consultant to request a Return Authority before returning the goods to the company’s address. RA labels can be downloaded from our website.
If the returns are not authorised, they won’t be accepted, and we instruct the delivery service to return the goods to the sender at their expense.
